Another track job gone right!!!

Posted October 2nd, 2011 at 06:38 PM by JCFarms

I'm so proud of Our Dubleaux "W"! That was a solid two hour track job, one speck of blood about every 100/200 yards or so, That deer hit that creek at least 5 times, it would go in the water and come back out, didn't throw him off though!!!
Finally when it did cross, he knew it.
So we went back to the truck, drove down the road to the bridge and crossed the bayou, got on the other side where Dubleaux was telling us it crossed and parked the truck. We walked down aways and got back on the bayou bank and started walking again Dubleaux started pulling so I knew we were back on it. I saw one little speck of food on a leaf and hollered to Bucknutz and A2H and SBF. that I thought we were back on it, just as I said that we went about ten yards and Dubleaux sat down! I was like "What the Flip" he won't move! A2H hollered there She is!
Not five feet from us completely covered in water She lay!
WAY TO GO DUBLEAUX!!!!!!!!

That is nice. I like tracking one just about as much as shooting one. Glad you got her.
