An update on my hunting buddy.

Posted October 29th, 2009 at 08:07 AM by marsh dragon

First of all I would like to thank all of you for all of the get wells and thoughts. My sons doing great he has all the stitches removed and has returned to school. And against my better judgment I've have allowed him to ride his dirt bike again, even though it's killing me. But I can't take away something that he is passionate about. That would be like someone taking hunting away from me. I showed him all the post on the blog and he couldn't believe it. He thought it was just the coolest thing in the world. Once again thanks to all and good hunting!!

Maybe that scared him enough and he'll be more careful. I know it was hard to let him get back on the bike but you did right.....now, another spill and it'd be in the "for sale" section of te local paper!!! hahahaha!!!

Glad all is well. Yeah I know for me if another accident would happen, the scrap yard wouldn't be enough, cutting torch!

You did do the right thing. Kinda like riding a horse. . .you fall, you get back on and ride some more. Deep breath. It will be ok. Kids are gonna be kids. Glad he escaped the incident without more serious injuries--perhaps he will be a little more cautious from this point on.
