Hmmm....I wonder what the "rest of the story" is behind that incident. Difficult to fathom somebody, even the most incompetent, to "accidentally" shoot and kill two people mistaking them as deer.

Just goes to show one doesn't need high fences and feeders to find good deer. Sweat equity and woodsmanship goes a long way.

Personally I like the lower powered variable scopes in the neighborhood of 1-4, 1-5, 2-7 etc. I like that they are smaller, lighter and I really like the option of setting them down to 1-2 power...
