Yesterday I saw 2 hens together with 7 poults. Later I saw a single hen with no poults. Then I saw another Turkey in da rd but too far to indentify. Shortly after that i had a gobbler jump up and fly off by da rd. Also saw 6 deer

Wow..... sounds like a great trip. Did you see any fawns? Might be a few week before they are moving around.

I don't remember the date [early Oct. ?], but I had a "late" fawn with spots on camera last year.

I bet your active scrape activity is slow during rut ; no need to scrape. More than enough does to go around ; so much so that some does go thru 2 or 3
28 day estrous recycle.

I did not see any fawns out there. They are just starting to drop fawns here at work.

So Saturday morning I saw 1 hen with 5 poults, 1 hen with no poults, a single gobbler, and later a group of 3 gobblers. Saw two deer.
