Default Head Shot Hog With Bow

I guess a NAP Killzone will penetrate a hog's skull. I buried the head and about 2" of arrow.

That is the best picture I have seen in a while!!! Awesome shot, I have wondered so many times on stand should I take that shot or not but this is proof. However, I am not gonna shoot a expensive broadhead on this shot. I知 bringing two quivers with me this year. The Grim Reaper Whitetail Special for deer and gonna grab the cheapest 125 grain broadhead at Walmart for the hogs.

Yep, this year I am on a mission. Years past I have thought back and forth, I spent thirty/forty bucks on Broadheads. Should I shoot them on a darn hog and chance messing them up? Not this year, I知 gonna shoot every one I see, I知 most likely gonna go a fixed blade route and attempt to re sharpen them. As long as the hogs die. Gut shot them and let them run off and die or if it痴 a good sow I値l bring her home. But I think us hunters need to do our jobs and shoot everyone we see.

I had 3 deer arrows with Grim Reaper Whitetail Specials and 1 hog arrow with the NAP Killzone. I like to try new broadheads on hogs before I try them on deer. Actually, I used the exact same arrow and head on a finish up shot on a spine shot deer Wednesday evening. That head was actually dull compared to a new one.

I've had success with the ramcats. Replaceable blades, and will back cut on the way out if there isn't much penetration. Also trying the montec G5 on the hogs this year.
