Its hard for an Archery only store to make it.

The stores that blend other things in, do better.
St Landry Lumber

Chags Fishing & Archery, Metairie ( saltwater specialist)

I hated to see the Thunder Valley archery people fold up, in Deridder 2+ years ago.
They were the last makers of the original Rothhar Snuffer broadhead. Roger Rothhar himself died i believe last year.
I bought 9 of the 150g heads, knowing it was the end of the road.

I haven't been that way in a bit. Sorry to see they are closing. The staff has always been helpful the times I have gone there.

Yep, this is a sad day. They were my go to shop for the past few years. There has been a new shop that opened up this past year in Moss Bluff that I haven't been to yet. I guess I will have to give them a try. Not a fan of any other shops in my area.

On that note. Have you tried the one in Iowa?

I went there once a couple of years ago, on a Saturday when I needed a string put on my bow.

The guy worked on it and had it completed and checked out in a few minutes while I waited.

Jay’s Archery- best, most knowledgeable person in the business in this state. He’s now in Pineville if y’all didn’t know.

That's a bummer, I really liked them. I stopped out there in late January and they had weird hours posted. Had a feeling business wasn't doing well.
