I bet he does not get 1 actual day in jail.

Society is too soft on a lot of things, especially fish & wildlife violations.

He's lucky I am not in charge

People like him, just like the ones who throw litter out onto the roadways, I have a high curiousity about their home lives. What went wrong in their lives ? Parenting ? Personal Hygine, what does the inside of their house look like ? Education .

Something psychologically shorted out with these individuals. And it's nothing new. Read about Ben Lilly. He shot many Ivory Billed Woodpeckers. And they name a bridge after him. A reward.
Courville, the Tensas Night Hunter. So proudly posing , " I was in my treestand when ...... "

Today, mark my word ; Wildlife violation Enforcement, as well as Enforcement in general, is weak, and will get weaker. Look at repeated protests of people jumping up & down on police car roofs, cops standing by watching. Roll that dirt bag over , and say next. There will be NO More people jumping on top of police cars.

Courville should have gotton minimum 5 Years no parole, Lifetime hunt ban with people enforcing it, following him.

This bald eagle killer- 10 years Minimum Federal Prison.
Criminal Justice 101 freshman year, you learn that Corrections only works, if it is a deterrent.

What do you think the future dirt bags think when they see this
" that dude got nothing- probation " they ain't gonna do us nothing no how, shoot that mf eating our fish. "

Thumbs up Eagle

I don't know Lamp. I would bet the judge does gives him some jail time and a Big fine for this. At least I hope so. Make an example of him for doing this. Hope they have a follow story on this.
