Sell it to the Busbice family. They will high fence it and the problem will be solved.

Default Just my opinion

The H**L with all those gun days. My only question is why not go back to the old days of rifle hunting and Primitive?
I can remember that rifle was for Thanksgiving and then First weekend in December. Then it was bow hunting only till the weekend after Christmas when rifle season would open for a week I think and then primitive in January. I want to recall they had it that way so rifle and primitive was in the RUT.

I would like to see it go back like the OLD season.
PLUS if they don't do something about the HOGS there want be any deer left. HOGS have gotten out of hand bad.

We're right down the road and my family does this, but it's also a relatively small amount of land. I would think that you get into larger amounts of land and it can get to the point of not being worth it. It is what it is. I wish LDWF did a lot of things differently, but I'll roll with what comes and try to make the best of it.

Sell it to the landrys then they can get together with the busbices and make tv shows there lol. I believe a sale will be coming for thistlewaite that is the main reason for all that logging they want to get all the money they can off the land then sell it pretty smart I would do same thing if it were mine plenty deer left in there and hogs just hard to get them in an 11000 acre thicket gonna take some deep pockets to buy that place lol

Busbice/Outlaws
If they sell to the Busbice the WLF will have to work overtime to keep them from violating game laws and hunting illegally like they do out of state

Do state game laws pertain to deer in a high fence? Remember, before you totally high fence an area in LA, the LDWF has to inspect it to make sure none of 'their" deer are in it. After that, I think it is pretty much operated like a farm and deer is the livestock. I don't know of they even have to follow seasons and limits.
