There are many to choose from on the market. I picked Sniper Hog after reading reviews from guys that do a lot of night hunting for hogs. I'm actually wanting to go thermal. That really seems to be the way to go. ATN just unveiled a more affordable model at the Vegas Shot Show. It doesn't record or require all the firmware updates. It's more of a bare bones, turn it on and hunt type scope. However, to help keep the cost down, it's only good out to 150-200 yards. Some of the bigger models can really reach on out there but they are $4000 too as opposed to $1200. Same goes with the red and green lights. The farther the range, the more expensive. The Sniper Hog I have has a long range capability and is normally expensive. I happened to catch it on sale.
