Default Tree identification help

Does any know what type of trees these are. I found these on my lease trying to see if deer eat them. I think one is a oak not sure about the second one.

The first pic on the left looks like a water oak and the second should be a sweet gum tree.

****, both of them are garbage. The water oak is better than the sweetgum, but both a frickin weeds when it comes to trees. At least the water oak produces acorns, but deer, turkeys, squirrels, etc. all prefer other oaks over water oaks.

And I just dislike water oaks...lmao!

I will disagree. Deer will tear up those water oaks. Most people call them pin oaks. Maybe you were thinking of a live oak???

Agreed. I have had some good late season hunts around a water oak.
