Default Can not eradicate feral hogs.

Cannot eradicate feral hogs as long as people can profit from them. Profiting from feral hogs needs to be illegal.

It has either been proposed in some other state or is law that you can't even legally catch or hunt feral hogs. Basically, they took all the value off the hog and said that is what slows the spread. Too many people catching and transporting.

First thing that needs to be done is the banning of live transport of feral hogs for ANY reason. That includes taking home to cut and butcher, putting in a pen to hunt, etc. Absolutely ZERO transporting of live hogs, not even to the sale barn.

I agree, transporting is the reason we are in the situation we are in now. Even guys picking the little cute ones up and putting them in their jackets to bring home and show the kids; I've heard that more than once.

To all the anti-kill "True Hog Hunters" out there, that really just like to play with them and run their dogs; I kill all I can.
