Default Cameraman setup

What's the best setup for Bowhunting with cameraman? What side does the hunter need to step off sticks? Does cameraman step on hunter stand and onto his? How far around the tree to set camera stand? Give me the 411... Bout to get sets in da woods!

I like my cam guy to be above me on my right shoulder. We set up on lock ons and we have two sets of sticks. One for me to climb and then one for him to climb. Lots alot easier. If you do not have the extra steps then him stepping on your stand climbing into his is also what we use to do. The bottom of his lock on was at my shoulder when I stood up to shoot giving him enough room (and myself) to shoot/film..

It's just in case we decide to do some filming. I plan on going it solo. I'm way to particular about my setups to have Joe or anyone else hunt all the time with me. Call it crazy but it works for me!

On the 2 man sets that I've hung, I've hung the camerman's stand higher and on the opposite side of the tree as my stand. He can easily stand and face the tree to film. It also makes the silhouette smaller should the deer look up at the shooter.
