I know but if you can't win with 10+ tackles for a loss and 5 sacks?

Something wrong.

I also don't know how that affects the Defense. I mean you play you're heart out, you make some good plays but you ultimately lose.

Hopefully with Ryan he keeps them motivated.

With 2:46 left on the clock we had TWO possessions.
and a Tom Brady Interception.

...and we still lost.

Of those two possessions we ran 7 plays and got 1 yard.

ok I'm done.......oh and I' love hearing Bobby yell a these guys on the radio.

...and I'll just leave this right here....

K.O. !!!

Terrible officiating the whole game. Saints D played their heart out. Offense had way too many 3 and outs. Coaching was suspect at times. But the officiating was what left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Yes, the refs definitely effected the outcome of this game.

Indeed they did.

The Golden Child had to win, and the refs did what they could to make it happen.

See the last play of the game. Where Refs are supposed to be PARTICULARLY watchful....

below the yellow circle(Choke-hold);

The penalty would have had a 10 second run off of the game clock and ended the game.

We got hosed!!!!!!

Wan Wan Wan! The Saints lost because they failed to make a first down in two consecutive possessions to put this game away. It was theirs to lose, and they did! That's the fact of the matter. I'm sure there were a lot of missed calls in this game that officials didn't see. And that goes both ways. I also think ole Sean got out coached. The Patriots keyed on two offensive weapons that have carried the Saints in their first five games. The screen pass to Sproles, and Jimmy Graham. Both of these weapons were kept under control by the Patriots. That was no accident.

The Saints are not without blame, but itís very hard to beat a team like the Patriots AND the refs. How many drive killing BS calls did the Saints get on offense? And how many BS penalties did the Saints get that prolonged the Patriots drive? The Patriots scored points off of bad calls. But not calling an obvious clothes-line of a headlock holding penalty with the game on the line was an outright robbery.

If that blatant hold penalty was called, what would have happen?

Saints weren't flawless, fact.

But a single penalty not called can indeed win or lose a game. I can give multiple examples aside from this particular game.

There is no perfectly called game of course. But there is one ref in the backfield whose ONLY job is to watch the Quarterback. What exactly was he watching this play? Had a defenders hand come near Brady's face, you'd have seen flags all over the place.

So I say again.
If that obvious penalty would have been called.
What would have happen?

Games over, but that doesn't mean we can't talk about it or recognize exactly how it ended.

On paper the Patriots won.
Had that HOLD been called, Saints Win.

That's the point.
