With State and Auburn left it's a tough road for us to the fantastic 4.

Man, it would be a disgrace to college football if no SEC west team gets in. But...we do have to play each other. Other teams are counting on us to cut each others throats so they can get in with weak schedules.

Hard one to swallow, but they played well for a bunch of freshmen. Had a great time, great weather and the stadium was ROCKIN.

They played well (for 59 minutes)for a year that many considers a rebuilding year. However, the passing game was PATHETIC, this includes QB and WRs. Mental mistakes at the end was the icing on the cake for this game. I know many people are hanging on to a moral victory since it was an OT loss to a #5 team, but let's face it, Alabama is not the elite team they have been the past few years.

The Ole Miss game was a bit of false hope, as Ole Miss playing like crap loss the game.

No need to worry. There is 0% chance espn doesn't get one of their money makers into the playoff despite records. ****, they'll fall all over themselves hyping up Presbyterian to help prop up Miss St if need be. They didn't spend 250 million a year on tv rights to keep their teams out.
Quick question maybe you can answer. When sec teams beat each other, it's the sec beating each other up. When other conferences beat each other, the losing team was "overrated". Never understood that one.

The SECs "weak" teams consistently beat these elite teams in bowl games. No a coincidence so many national champions have come from the sec over the past decade.

I'm not arguing the strength of the sec. Although i think its down considerably this year. Their top 4 teams are tough, HUGE drop off after that though. Here's the "elite" teams the sec beat the last two bowl cycles. No BCS bowl win last year with Bama and Aub losing.

2012)N.D.,Pitt,OU,Neb,Mich,NC State
2013)Houston,Ok St.,Wisconsin,Duke,Iowa,Rice,G.T.

Not exactly a murderers row of "elite" teams. Now you go back back before that. Yes, they were slobber knocking elite teams.

FWIW here's my top 4
Miss St (I don't think they survive though)
FSU (I put them here because they're undefeated, not because they're 2nd best)
OSU (yeah I know, how dare I, I attribute the loss to VT to a freshman qb)
TCU they'll need to overcome the loss to Baylor, no more ranked teams on their schedule so I don't know if they will
5-8
Bama, ASU, Oregon, (Auburn or Baylor)
