Default Ehl final standings - horn stars win!

Our season has come to a close...

Congrats to the Horn Stars on a great season from the whole team... Even I managed to scratch out 9 points without getting a deer this year.
229 Points is a pretty impressive score.

Congrats to Orion on both the MVP and Hog Death titles.
We had a very competitive MVP race this year with a whole bunch of guys breaking 40 points which is a tremendous accomplishment.

The Hog Death competition wasn't much of a competition.

Thank you to all who played this year and I hope you enjoyed the contest. I sure hope to see you all back next year and maybe we can continue to grow this fun event. Please send me any changes or suggestions for next season!

1 Horn Stars - 229 Pts

Bruiser bowl may be over but my season's hog death count is still on the rise to 66 with another 3 on Ice from 3 long days of slinging arrows with so many close hog encounters ; ) guess I'll go back to posting in the hog forum until next September!

They not that bad on yancey compared palmetto country where they really bad because they hide so well. Plus it's easier for me to get within 15yds with the palmettos for cover and they fight more often allowing me to hear them. However, it makes tracking super tough having to bust through palmettos. I've been within 30yds of well over 100 pigs in the past 3 weekends. Here's another from Friday that was @ 3yds from me. I shot it twice through each shoulder and it was dead in less than 60 seconds. Crazy cool video. Also had a mad momma sow come @ me after thwacking a 20lber that was sequeling. Shes now licking her wounds and got lucky i missed the brain by an inch b4 she possibly charged. Just left my taxidermist's place. He loved checking out my 100lb bow and snipped small game heads. I'm gonna order a new warbow for next year. An all green one that's 54" in the 80lb range called "WAR-METTO" to help with the clearance issues I'm having from my 66" longbow.

And congrats to horn stars on the team victory.

Congrats to the horn stars! This was a great season for me even with only one hog down. It was my first big game kill, and with a bow. I saw more deer and hogs this season then the last 4 seasons. Reading all the stories definitely kept me pumped up all season long. Even made a hog hunt recently with a guy from the sight. We're gearing up for some kayak fishing soon. I hope everybody stayed safe this season. Can't wait until next October!
