Default Any birds tagged?

I didn't hear a gobble or heard any gunshots today in southern pointe coupee parish. Anyone get a bird?

I was working a Tom off the roost and after an hour he shut up. I happen to look over my shoulder in the pasture and had a black coyote running in. I flipped her on the run at 45 yards. Continued hunting till 4:30pm I covered 700 acres... not another sound from a turkey all day. Wind was horrible!

I know of one that was killed in Livingston Parish this weekend. My brother said he was done for the season. Not enough birds to justify shooting another one. He has already had a good season in Texas and is coming up to hunt with me in a couple weeks.
This ain't Louisiana, but my youth hunter tagged one with me for the Missouri Youth weekend.

I heard one once on Saturday. He wouldn't answer me. I called up a hen. Sunday, I saw a hen. I know of a few that were killed, but the weather was not great either. I'll try them again on Friday.

I had one come in at 10 yds in Livingston parish I shot him with my crossbow he ran 5 ft and started walking back in the woods and I quickly loaded another bolt and hit him again. I had clean past through both shots and cut wing feathers completely off of him. After searching for several hours with multiple people I never found my bird. Which also had a nice beard on him. I’m sick to my stomach about the whole situation. Will be trying a broadheads soon I guess

My friend did that in Indiana. Same thing. Run off all wounded. He knew Tom was in a woodpile. Come back with a borrowed shotgun and killed it.

F that.
