Just a growing trend in society. When loyal friends start disrespecting each other relationships fail. Hate to hear it, but i'm not surprised. Like he said U already have some good bucks on the wall...complete BS! Like others have said, get with the landowner and see what U can work out. Hopefully the landowner has more loyalty for U than your "friend" does.

I don't understand people like that. Why not ask you if he could make another trip with you? I had friends turn me on the their spots in Grassy a couple of yrs ago, hunted it the first yr but it didn't feel right. Last yr I moved further away and this yr even further. It's much more rewarding to "hunt" and harvest your own deer.

That's not the way you're supposed to do a "friend." I'd call the landowner and talk with him. You may can smooth it over with your buddy by inviting him on another hunt but no way should he be able to hunt the property without you.

Would you have felt any different if he called you first to see if he could go up there without you, maybe only when you couldn't make it at the times he could go?
