Default Big pick up possible today

5 star safety, and current top ranked player in Texas for 2014 is going to pick a school today at noon. It will be a shock if it's not LSU.

He's all LSU as is Tony Brown from Beaumont. According to 247sports Paris and Brown are the top 2 players in texas and the only 2 five stars in TX and both will probably be coming to LSU. Rivals has them rated a little different but both still in the top 10 in TX which is still impressive for LSU to get.

Yeah Tony's sister Bealoved just signed for track with LSU so that will be a shocker if he goes elsewhere. There was an article last week when the mother was saying it would benefit brother and sister to go to separate schools. However, that's not expected. Would be two big gets a year after LSU missed on all Texas targets.

You been on 247 long ragincajun? Going on two years for me (hookem.com) Texas' 247 site. They absolutely crush everyone else if you're a recruiting junkie.

Havent been on there that long but i like the site. LSU also just offered OLB Otaro Alaka from the CY area in Houston. Very shocking considering the LB's we allready have and the talent in state.

Texas also offered today. I see a little change in recruiting philosiphy by LSU with a&m on schedule. Needing to get some sideline to sideline Lb's with speed to cover the spread. I always thought that was the problem when Big12 schools had to line up against the SEC power run games. We had to recruit light weight backers to cover the high flying offenses of the Big12 and recruited accordingly. Unfortunately that would mean smaller d lineman that can go 70-85 snaps per game, and linebackers that spent most of their time dropping into coverage instead of shedding blockers and getting after running backs.

Heres one

Bama & LSU but you already knew that

Brian Perroni ‏@Perroni247
2017 LB/RB Dylan Moses (yes, an 8th grader) now has 2 major SEC offers. Check out his profile: http://247sports.com/Player/Dylan-Moses-22587
