Default First bow kill at Attakapas WMA

Me and a buddy went out to the Attakapas this weekend for the first time this year to check out a few of my deer spots. When we got there I tied up the boat and started walking to my old area to find ourselves surrounded by hogs 20-40 yards away from us, so we decided to head back to the boat and get our bows. After getting our bows we headed back out and sure enough ran into some more hogs. They were definatly not scared of us. i decided to knock my arrow and walked about 20 yards from one of the pigs and had a bad shot but decided to take it anyway. The first shot i missed clean shooting through alot of brush. Then the hog ran about 30 yards and started feeding again, so i walked up about 20 yards from it again, but this time i had a clean broadside shot and the rest is history. Thats when the fun began. Dragging that thing out those woods was harsh. We didnt even want to go back and try to shoot another one.
