man my daughter waited 5 years and finally go picked for the Sherburne youth hunt on sunday and weather looked perfect!!! well I get a call today from ldwf and hunt is cancelled, he says Sherburne will close at midnite Friday night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still nothing on the ldwf website about it closing.
If it's closing tomorrow seems they would let the public know

Warden at the IB ranger station said he was told as of yesterday that they will give a 10 day heads up if they do decide to open the spillway and close IB, and then a 10 day heads up as to when the season (if at all) will open back up. Meeting open to the public tomorrow nite at the Butte La Rose fire dept

I called the Corps of Engineers office in Port Barre, and they told me that Indian Bayou will be closed to deer hunting after Sunday. They will make a decision on if they will close it to all hunting sometime next week.
