Default Water Level

I heard the level in the basin could reach 18 foot by the weekend and they may be closing the basin to all hunting. Has anyone else heard anything like this

I heard something similar about it closing at 18' but was also told that they thought that it would only hit 17' by this coming weekend. Not sure though cause I only heard from a buddy at work. Nothing official

Heard a rumor today that they may close sherburne and it may be as soon as tomorrow at noon. I'm not sure of the specifics, this came from a friend so take it for what it is.

I was at Sherburne yesterday [Tue.]. I talked with a guy that was launching his boat at the Headquarters launch and he said that the water there has only gone up a few inches in the past week.

I don't any reason to close because the water level is about "NORMAL" for this time of the year.

Yea if they close sherburne and they don't open the Morganza we need to give the commission an ear full.
I heard they gonna talk about it at the meeting in Baton Rouge tomorrow
Hopefully they don't do anything stupid.

That's my thoughts. Only way they should or would close sherburne is if they open the Morganza gates. I honestly don't see that happening with Morgan city already flooding

I was in there today, and there really isn't that much water. I don't know why they would shut it down.
