It is a proven fact that still hunters and dog hunters alike along with trapping year round can not remotely come close to doing any significant damage to the hog population...........

Texas has year round hunting,night hunting,helicopter hunting,trapping,so forth and so on and their population has been on a steady increase in the last five years........

some hunters are against it and most dog hunters are against it,but what they don't understand is that they can't even put a dent in the hog population......

As I see it, poisoning in selected high density areas is the only solution right now to try to get a handle on this problem......

Ask any farmer that has lost acres and acres of their crop what they think about it????????????

Dog hunters aren't interested in putting a dent in them. They want the hogs. They are part of the reason there is a problem in the first place. LA should have banned live transport 10 years ago or longer.

Agree 100%, they are their own worse enemy, although none will ever admit it!!!!!!!!!
