They recommend 40gr or higher. I shot 30 to 55 gr and had no issues. I did oil the action before I started shooting it. The action did seem dry when I first inspected it. But no issues yet. I had a guy that saw one yesterday for 530 at a gun shop in North Carolina. If I find another one I may buy it and try to get Kel-Tec to put a bull barrel on it or just machine a blank.
