Default Rape Seed?

Anybody have any experience with planting rape seed? Thinking of planting in one of my food plots for this coming deer season.

It's just a brassica with a little milder tasting green than turnips, mustard, canola, etc. Common in mix but stand alone plot will depend on the areas options. You know your deer the best. Easy to grow, certain types tolerate lower ph levels which make it convenient for poorer soil types. Needs all fertilizer, dont buy anything with zero in it. Deep root system for small plant, compared to oats and smaller grains. So makes sure soil bed is well prepped. Other than that should get great results growing it

I had luck with one of the Biologic blends that had rape in it. Don't expect much usage until a hard frost.
