I ordered the Strike Force by XOP for $203 shipped. Love this stand compared to my API Bowhunter, but I haven't hunted out of it yet. Hopefully I'll feel the same after some hours in it!

That's exactly what I'm looking at now that I have some Bass Pro gift cards burning holes in my pocket! Lol. The Hawk climbing sticks and haven't made my mind up on the particular stand yet. Can you get high enough with the three pack of sticks? Or is it advisable to get a fourth?

How high you should climb, often depends on where you hunt. In thick woods, sometimes I only climb 12-14 feet up because if you go any higher there are too many limbs and at lower heights you can see and shoot farther.

In more open woods, I like to get up at least 20 feet and usually 25+ feet.

If you find a tree with some limbs you can use the limbs to climb up higher. I once hunted from a Cypress tree that I climbed [no stand] up about 30 feet. I had a wonderful view up there..... but no deer that day.

It is better to have an extra stick and not need it, than to need another stick and not have it. I have seen several videos on "TRICKS" people use to get up higher with there sticks.
