No Joke , it's Sad. This placed have been poorly managed. In the 90s , 20 hunts 40 to 50 deer sighting a season. 2016-17 season 42 hunts 7 deer sighting. This season 35 hunts 3 deer sights.

I've only made 3 hunts on the south tract this season and seen 1 deer. Do you think the abundance of hogs(I've seen more hog sign on the south tract this past December than ever before)and lack of thick cover has caused the deer to leave? I don't think it's from over harvest.

They died of lead poisoning. 17 gunb doe days . What other wma in the state has 17 gun doe days. 2015-16
150 deer harvested on 5000 acres. 2016-17 ( 60 total deer harvest ) 4 months of either sex archery and 17 gun either sex days.

There seems to be a pattern among MOST or All WMA's, and NWR's that are pressured to increase recreation, by those who control wma's.

Drastic crash of deer population in the name of recreation .

There is a biologist in hammond office named Jill Day. She is over Tunica. Call and voice your opinion it can't hurt. Do not talk to Forest burks he doesnt care. He was the one that is responsible for screwing the havest stats in tunica last year.
