Default What is this?

A few days ago my wife went out in the garage mid morning while there was a light rain.

She came back inside and hollered for me to come quick. When I got outside this guy was 15 feet away on the driveway. I ran back inside to get my camera and went out on the front porch to hopefully get better pictures because it was heading down the driveway.

I am not a Duck hunter and only know a few different kinds. What is this?

It walked slowly and showed no signs of injury...Ö but it only walked. I watched it cross the ditch out front and then it walked across the road and headed farther away in the neighbor's yards.

Later I thought maybe I could have walked toward it to see if it would fly off or just take off walking faster.

I live in Gillis, that guy hung out in my pond for a few months this summer. He usually had a mascovey duck with him. My kids fed them bread then he dissappeared one day i figured he flew over the wrong field this season
