Default yote smackdown!

I was sneaking through the woods Friday evening heading to where I was going to hunt...I caught movement in front of me and noticed a coyote...at 20 yards he stopped and looked at me...I already had an arrow nocked and my release on my wrist...with my climber still on my back...I drew and smoked him...I figured he would break and run while I was drawing but he didn't...I don't know what he was thinking....I threw him in a creek behind me...and didn't see a single deer in 2 hunts...I don't know if the yote had anything to do with it,but I had a good trail and deer crap all around me...the guys at the camp talked me into bringing him out to take pics. so after the morning hunt Saturday I brought that nasty tick infested mutt out...I hate coyotes!

Default Yote

Killing a yote with a bow is an outstanding accomplishment. Most people are lucky enough to only glimpse one...ALWAYS on the move. Congrats...you're one of a few.

Default Great Job

What an outstanding job... You are one of few that has accomplished stalking up on a yote. You must be really quiet going to your stand.

I always walk in as quiet as possible and I always try to be observant of whats going on around me...but,what happened with this hunt was...I walked through a freshly chopped food plot...then down an old logging road that was straight down hill with a clean lil' washout...I used it to walk down....when I got to the bottom there he was!
