Default Hog Hunting Rules & Regulations on LDWF web..

Can someone post them?

I know you can plow down hogs year round in Louisiana because they're feral.

Can you shine hogs and hunt them at night?

(looking for rules that apply in St. Bernard parish)

There was talk about allowing night hunting of hogs with a special permit but I don't know if it went through. Can't seem to find it on LDWF site.

Not sure about public land but last year we checked with WLF and for our lease we were told,,,,, you have to get a permitt , signed by land owner, signed by everyone that will be hunting, also back ground check on everyone hunting,, permitt is good for 7 days then if you want to do it again , you have to repeat the process all over. haven't heard if anything has changed since then.

I talked to the WLF for area 6 in Opelousas and they told me the same thing, but he said they have to conduct a site visit to see the damage. Also he said I cant here a bow going off. Take that like you want it!!
