Roy Lacour in Grand Cane is doing one my son caught last year, but I haven't got it back yet of judge. I had one done several years ago by a guy in Tioga area that did a great job. The name of the place was Woods to Wild Taxidermy. You should have quit a few options up around Shreveport though. Not everybody does good fish and the ones who do are gonna be a little more expensive but worth it.

I'll second Steve German's. I know it's a good ways from DeSoto, but if you ever in the area, it's worth stopping in his art gallery. You can look at some of his mounts on his website.

Honestly no. Other than some pics on his Facebook page. I knew his work with deer was excellent, and when I sent my deer head he included the fish for the same price (I've helped him out a couple times). I basically got the fish done for free and had just put the fish in the freezer incase we wanted to get it mounted. I'm gonna call him tonight to get a status update on the fish and will let you know when I get it.
