17-0 Stanford @ Half-time.

Look at the drives and plays from Stanford. Demoralizing.

Stanford playing SEC style ball on em. Long clock killing run dominated drives and great defense. OU don't know what to do when their offense is not on the field.

I have to wonder.

When one of the so-called GREATEST Spread Offense's
loses on the big stage again to a superior Power Run/Defensive Team,
do all Spread Offense Teams second guess themselves?

I mean, they have to, right?

I pretty much called this a week ago. Stanford knows how to beat the ducks. Not only are they physical, but amazingly they have the speed to run with the ducks for a while. The trick is to keep Oregon's offense off the field. Don't try and gun sling with them. Alabama would have had a field day with them.

I said it earlier this week, that Stanford defense is the same one that beat them last year. 15 of 22 players on that defense are seniors. They know how to beat Oregon. Oregon will always be second tier cause they can't win the big games.

I'm hanging in a tree. I said if it was close Bama would beat OU. Seems like they would for sure now. Hit man your question about spread teams. I don't think they rethink, I think they wish they had more dominant llines. Theyre playing to their recruiting base. The have more qb's and receivers in Texas / Cali then they do big uglies like the southeast.
Maybe ranked like this
Bama
Fsu
Uga
Mizzou
They would be my 4 team neutral field playoff. Muzzy beat Uga I just think healthy Uga wins next time

So you would put THREE SEC teams in??? I wouldn't even do that. Georgia and MIZZOU aren't even on the same level as Bama and the Seminoles.

Bama
FSU
Stanford
Baylor

Lets face it, they are the most impressive right now. Has Ohio State even played the next best team in the Big Ten (Michigan St)?
