Default Dewey Wills

I got drawn on Dewey Wills for the opening weekend, but have never set foot there. Any suggestions on where I may see some birds?

The lower half of the WMA will probably still be closed bc if high water if I had to guess. So Id try scouting on the north end ahead of time. I personally have never seen a turkey in the woods there, just heard a few gobbling while fishing a few years back. Good luck

I have a camp there North of the diversion canal. If I were going turkey hunting there I wouldn't venture too far off the levee. I see quite a few there. Good luck
