Bow only clubs are harder to kill deer in than any other club. If you put the number of hunters per acre, generally a bow hunter will cover 4 times the area to locate sign/ hunt on trails/ move around to get closer to deer sightings/ and scout more, just to locate deer sign. Whereas generally most gun hunters tend to stay as stationary as possible due to the range of weapon.
Imo, bow only clubs get more pressure than standard clubs.
I know how I am as a bow hunter, and a turkey hunter. I know the amount of land I can cover in one walk, and if I am scouting for the perfect place to bow hunt I generally dont leave much unturned.
And if I am hunting a spot and see deer moving too far out of bow range, I will move to get closer, as many times as it takes.
So yeh, the idea of bow hunting clubs are a good idea, but the lack of bow hunter pressure imo will yeild more deer...
