Has anyone ever heard about this deer? I can't remember ever hearing about it. It's a pretty amazing deer!

Yep. Some say the most bizzare deer ever killed.

I had recieved a book as a free gift for some organization I joined and it had the story in it. I remember the "Peanut" character

I can't see it bc my computer is as old as I am. Is this the Walker deer that was ruled a freak and too freaky to score? If it is, they came up with 291" before they stopped I think.

Yeah, I think so. They said it was shot by Samuel Walker in 1958, the rack was unscorable do to the fact that it didn't have main beams.

I saw this deer years ago at the LOBO Sporting Show at the Centralplex in Baton Rouge! They did a whole story on this buck and I think gave out flyers with the story. I will have to see if my dad still has his I know he had it for a long time after the show! Man I miss the LOBO Show...! Thanks for sharing CKC Great Post...
