Eric loves every type of hunting imaginable including dove and deer, although he’s first to admit that if he had to give them all up for one animal to hunt, he’d spend the rest of his days turkey hunting. Born and raised in the growing community of Zachary, Eric learned all about the outdoors from his father, and graduated from LSU in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, landing a job at a firm out of Baton Rouge as a project manager. He currently resides in Ethel, LA with his wife and two children.
Eric owes his passion of turkey hunting to his late father-in-law, who instilled in Eric a lifetime’s worth of knowledge about these noble birds. This inspirational man taught Eric to judge success by the amount of insights gained in the field over the lagniappe of bringing a tom home upon his shoulder. He works hard at instilling these insights into new hunters of the sport, while not letting this passion interfere with his first priority: his love for God and family.
